The Galloway Family Reunion began in 1975 with only a few in attendance.  The first meeting was held in Greenville, Mississippi, at the home of Audren Harma and Joe Dyer Galloway Garner.  From that small beginning, we have grown tremendously. According to our records, Patrick Caldwell and Sarah Elizabeth have over 500 descendants. There are uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, and all sorts of  cousins located all over these United States and further.  Family members reside in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin as well as Sardinia, an island that is part of Italy.  Galloway Family 1992 Reunion, Pine Bluff, ARWe do not have addresses for all family members.  If you know of anyone who does not receive the Annual Reunion Letter, please have them contact us, or send us the information.

We met every year since that first meeting in Greenville, Mississippi until we decided in July 2007 to hold the Reunion every other year. In 2009 we decided to go back to yearly reunions.  We met in the Swan Lake Community Center Building at Swan Lake, Arkansas for several years, and then moved to other locations in Pine Bluff, Arkansas - a Paper Mill, a Church and a Park. When Louie A. Galloway, Jr. (our President at the time) moved to Springdale, Arkansas, we changed our Annual Meetings to the Fayetteville and Springdale areas.  For our 2011 Reunion, we stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Fayetteville beginning Thursday evening June 23rd, with our Reunion Meeting on Saturday, June 25th at the Golden Corral. Plan to join us in June 2012 at our next reunion. Contact us for more details.

We always have a great time shopping for anything and everything, eating good food, enjoying great fellowship and reminiscing with family members.  Of course, everyone knows that the Galloway’s are well known as connoisseurs of good food – both preparing and eating.

Please check out the entire web site on your Galloway family roots.  You will find pages on the following features: Family History; Family Photographs (past and present); and the PDF copies of documents that can be downloaded. Both the Photo Page and PDF Documents Page are password protected.  The password is free and available to all family members – just email or write.

We want to hear from you – tell us what you think about the web site and what is going on with you and your family. We added new images from Marshall's family branch in July 2011.
